This is definitely not a 4 or 5 star hotel.Room: A wardrobe with drawers that are not possible to open. A leaking toilet (was reported, nothing done), shower head that was sliding down the pole all the time, cups but no kettle (was reported, but never received it), no bedside lights, we ordered a double it was two single beds, the room was connected to the one next to it with a door between them - we could hear every single thing they were saying and have to put towels on the floor to block out the light. Safe was closed and we didn't know the code, my family had the same issues... Only one card! Asked for another one but was told "the hotel is full" like it matters how many cards you received. They basically don't want you to leave the card in the room so the AC can work, so there is AC but your room will never be cooled, as you have one card that you get with a sticker of your room number on it - no card holder.Service: very bad, not helpful, disrespectful I would say. Of course not all of them, but the receptionist would almost laugh at you if you ask any questions, or look at each other and speak their language in front of you... Don't give you any information what is where or what are the services (I asked about the spa and they said I need to go there and ask about details as they don't know, I asked about booking trips and if I can do it through one of the agencies - they don't know, I asked about a leaflet with all the information about the hotel and opening times, they don't have etc.). They barely smile, walk around like they were make to do this job or like they are on holidays as well. They give different treatment to people that pay them additional to other guests, so even if you pay for all inclusive you have to pay more to get your drinks in glass at the bar or to order more then 2 drinks at a time. One time at the bar the waiter made a mistake - put vodka and ice in glass and then couldn't take out the ice so he just tip it all back pouring the vodka all over the ice. There are kids using this bar for soft drinks, so now they had some alcohol with it!Food and drinks: food was ok, but not great, usually the same stuff just in a different mix. Drinks were worse - the soft drinks for breakfast were so fake that they were almost glowing. The alcohol in the bar was from plastic bottles, just poured to glass bottles so it looks better, the soft drinks were cheaper version only. Coffee was the best thing to drink.Facilities: We were there in June so it was ideal as there were not a lot of people and usually we got a good spot at the pool. The pool was clean and nice size. Gym was good, spa was really nice and usually empty, probably because they don't really give you any information about it. Entertainment was poor compare to other hotels we been at where there was something happening every hour, but for us it was okay as we just wanted to spend time with family. If we would come there alone we would be bored.Location: yes, it is close to the beach, but that's about all. Durres and Golem are miles away and to be honest there is nothing special to see in Durres anyway. It was very dirty everywhere. I think the beautiful spots in Albania are far away so then you spend 3h one way on a trip to some places.
