I wanted to share my experience at the hotel, having had a holiday disaster.
This so-called 5-star "ultra all-inclusive" hotel, where we stayed for 6 days and paid a considerable amount in total, showed me this: It may be all-inclusive, but service, quality, and friendliness are not included.
Our motivation vanished before the holiday even began. We arrived at the hotel, and after an 8-hour journey, our room wasn't ready. We waited for hours for the room to be prepared.
The room was clean, but it was the "farthest corner of the room" version.
Despite the voucher stating "standard room," we were given a corner without a balcony, internet, or sunlight, at the very edge of the hotel building. We were only able to get a refund after contacting the agency.
In the bathroom, everything was missing, from shampoo to the shower head:
– The shower head attachment was broken.
– The sinks were covered in limescale.
– Shampoo, shower gel, toiletries? None. There was only liquid soap for both hair and body.
Wi-Fi? It didn't even work in the room. I'm talking about an internet connection where even messages weren't being delivered.
The food is the same every day, getting more and more tasteless each day.
– Appetizers are excessively salty.
– Main courses are tasteless.
- They cook fish and red meat on the same grill 🤣
– The carbonara pasta had salami in it.
– If you miss a meal, you're greeted with rice and chicken on a warming tray, and even that is stale.
The snack bar is only kept afloat by pizza.
– The American pan pizza (without sausage) was good.
– Everything else was frozen supermarket products. Frozen nuggets, burgers, all frozen foods bought from 3-letter supermarkets.
They pretend to have drinks at the bar.
– No gin.
– No vermouth.
– No Red Bull.
– No syrup.
– One cocktail tasted like vinegar.
– The ready-made mixes are stale, the shaker only shakes for 3 seconds and doesn't even mix.
The only decent service was from Ms. Hülya, who works from 8 am to 5 pm. Except for the cocktails she makes, everything else was like a testing ground.
I asked for a cold coffee,
Hot coffee > in a water glass > ice on top :D
I asked for a Mojito
Dense syrup at the bottom, mint in the middle, ice on top.
Neither mixed, nor dissolved, nor balanced in taste.
They pretend there's an activity
– Water aerobics = 5 minutes
– DJ = speaker crackling
– Violin performance = drowned out by the noise from the neighboring hotel
– No music by the pool, no fan, no shade
Hot spa air from the ventilation system is next to the pool. While sunbathing, hot and unpleasant air comes from below.
In the indoor dining area, your clothes smell of frying oil after eating.
The elevators are narrow, dark, stuffy, and constantly busy.
You're not happy when you arrive, you're apprehensive when you get in.
The power went out, there was no generator. There was no electricity for 3 hours.
I couldn't wash my hands because the sinks were sensor-operated. Zero hygiene, zero solutions. Can there be a 5-star hotel where we can't wash our hands?
Concept museum hotel :D Apollo is there, but there's no quality.
Apollo and Hera are hanging out in the garden full of statues, but the service sector is abysmal. It's given a museum atmosphere, but the service was like something out of the Roman decline period.
Ultra All Inclusive, but the Turkish bath and sauna are extra.
If you want to travel back to ancient Rome and vacation with plenty of head-shaped statues, incomplete cocktails, stale coffee, and a 5-day repeating food menu, this is the right place.
But if you're looking for real quality, service, comfort, and professionalism…
This hotel is not only 5 stars, but also a 5-star ultra all-inclusive disappointment :D
My rating is 1/5, and that's only because of Ms. Hülya's efforts and the pizza without sausage.
Edit 1: The animation activity on the last day of the vacation was enjoyable. The Iranian artist who came was extremely talented; he didn't fit the hotel at all 🤣 He set the place on fire. At least we had some fun on the last day.
