The room doesn’t have electricity for two times. Every time I had to wait for at least 30min for staffs to fix it. I have asked to change for a room, but the receptionist declined. Now still in the dark and there is no electricity.

Amazing experience at Desort Rose Hurghada! We were based in rooms 8000 close to the private lagoon beach exclusive to the Resort. Very friendly staff, lots of activities for kids and adults, an very good food. Reccomended for families with kids and regular guests!

The room was fine—quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and new, which I appreciated. The housekeeping staff provided good service, ensuring everything was tidy and well-maintained during my stay.Now, let’s talk about the dining experience at The Palm restaurant, where I had breakfast and dinner over my 2-night, 3-day stay. Unfortunately, the first day was quite disappointing. The staff at the pasta station seemed disinterested in taking orders, which was frustrating. Overall, the service felt lackluster, and I left feeling unwelcome. For some food station, it felt like everyone’s treatment varied depending on their race. My family had a similar experience while getting food and shared the same uncomfortable feelings.However, my meals on the following days were better, with no unfair treatment, though the service remained average. the overall service made me hesitant to return to the restaurant.On a brighter note, the resort offers three large swimming pools, which looked inviting, even though I didn’t swim due to the cold season. They provide a calming atmosphere just to relax by. We also enjoyed a show at the theater called The Stage at 9 PM, which had a great vibe and was a nice way to unwind after dinner.

Somewhat outdated rooms. The food is good, there is something for every taste. The staff is ultra friendly.

Staff at the reception is not polite. We booked a room with a pool view and paid extra and didn't get 2. We had booked rooms until the end of the day and those at the reception said from 12-00 the room costs 20 dolers for 2 hours. And we only had the transfer at 11-30 p.m. unfortunately we can't recommend the hotel. Although everything else was somewhat OK.

I can say that it was the best Hotel where we were in Egypt. Everything was great, from Reception to Room (just renovated), Restaurants, Bars... Super Service and super clean . The meals were delicious and most important thing for us in Egypt... The people were really polite without expecting money from you 😉. We can just recommend. This is the first hotel where we would like to come another time.

We have currently just finished our holiday here, and we cannot complain about one thing. Every staff member is welcoming and friendly always willing to help, and they always have a friendly smile. The staff cannot do more for you. The food is great loads of different things to try. They have loads of pools with loads of sun beds, a lot for kids and adults to do too. We will 100% be coming back this is by far one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at.

Desert Rose is one of the places that I love to have a vacation in . The rooms were very good, in my opinion. And I love the greenery everywhere . Palm trees and beautiful flowers everywhere . The pools were clean . The food was very, very good in quality. A variety of food . The food was very delicious. I loved the blue beach very much. The staff were very friendly. This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. I wish to come here every year .

The rooms were adequate but the bathrooms need updating but are clean.The food wasn't to my taste and repetitive for my liking but plenty of it to go around the guests.The Setting and gardens are beautiful and everything is kept well.The Staff are all amazing and can't do enough for you.Good value for what we paid .

It's our third time in 4 years at Desert Rose. This place is amazing!The facilities are great, they make good use of the green space (outdoor gym, games area, peddle court, kids playground). A few pools and a small aqua park.Unlike a lot of the other hotels, the food was also really good. Breakfast was repetitive but the other buffets were changed slightly every day and always tasted great. There are a couple of pool and beach bars where you can get some lighter meals (burger etc), those weren't as nice but did the job.Animation program was always nice, also for the kids.Main compliant is the rooms. While still nice and clean, the regular rooms are not 5 star standard. Old furniture, old bathrooms. The superior rooms are much nicer though.Finally, almost all the staff we dealt with were very nice and friendly. With one or two exceptions, no one was actively sitting there waiting for a tip (even if they really were)
