INSULA RESORT&SPA Did not meet our expectations! Dirty, tasteless, many disadvantages. Everything was ultra included, but you have to pay for spa treatments! Only the gym was free, where everything was almost broken, the trainers' ropes were broken! The sauna, especially the steam one, is terribly dirty, I lost the desire to use it! We would never go back to that hotel! And I won't trust the Tez Tour agency anymore, because they assured me that it's great there!

I visited this hotel at the end of September. I liked it! Cozy rooms, helpful staff. Very compact courtyard. Many wonderful plants, and the flowers are also fragrant. The food is good. We were not hungry. Sincere thanks to all the staff from Vilma. See you next time!

Hotel "Insula" in Turkey: A vacation that turned into a nightmareI never write reviews, but this time I can't keep quiet. My stay at the Insula Hotel in Turkey was so horrible that I feel obligated to warn other travelers. This hotel is far from 5 star standard and my holiday turned into a real nightmare for many reasons:Hygiene is a real horror:* Cats: They were everywhere! In the dining room, they jumped on the tables, rubbed their legs, and the "gifts" they left behind and the lingering smell of urine spoiled the appetite and caused disgust. The staff did not react to this as if it was normal.* Food poisoning: Unfortunately, we are not without food poisoning. The food was not only tasteless and monotonous, but also obviously not fresh. After dinner at the hotel restaurant, my partner and I felt nauseous, had stomach aches and diarrhea. It ruined a few days of vacation.Other problems:* Service: The staff was indifferent and rude. Complaints were not responded to, and requests were ignored, and there were cases when the staff working at the time spoke neither English nor Russian.* Rooms: Rooms are poorly cleaned. The furniture is in poor condition and the bedding is stained.Bed mites: After the first night I noticed itchy bites on my body. After inspecting the bed, we found ticks! This caused not only physical discomfort, but also psychological stress - we could not sleep peacefully, we constantly felt dirty.* Noise: The hotel is close to a busy street, so the constant noise disturbed sleep even with the windows closed.Overall impression:Hotel "Insula" is a real trap for tourists. I am not a demanding traveler, but basic cleanliness and hygiene are essential. This hotel does not meet any standards and the indifference of the staff only makes it worse.I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a pleasant vacation.

Stay from 17/05-30/06.My stay at the hotel was a success. Transfer from the airport approximately 2 hours. The Insula Resort Hotel is not a large building, it is an intimate hotel located near a wide beachSmall room, view of the sea and the swimming pool. There is a fridge in the room, filled with soft drinks every day. The bathroom contains shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed every day. Beach towels can also be changed daily. Large swimming pool, separate area for children. Lots of greenery. Sunbeds available, but people took their seats with towels. The downside was the very loud music at the pool. The water in the pool is perfect for swimming. The food was very good, varied, huge selection, delicious cakes, available fruit, desserts... delicious.Pebble and rocky beach. Safety shoes will come in handy. Lots of free sun loungers on the beach. Beautiful, clean sea.Very nice animators, I won a champion in darts medal.😄Darts, beach ball, water polo and disco every evening. Very interesting evening animations, dance groups from Colombia, fire shows...There were people from Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania in the hotel... there was no aggression... we raised a toast to world peace. We met great people. Magda, Darek, best regards 😊The hotel is located close to the main road.Very close to the center of Konakli, there are plenty of shops and shops.Alanya is 13 km away and can be reached by bus or taxi. The hotel employees, from the receptionist, waiters, bartenders, cooks to the cleaning ladies, are very nice, smiling and helpful.Available bars: lobby bar, pool bar, beach bar. Main restaurant and beach restaurant. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool, sauna, SPA, fitness room, tennis, shop and slides. We liked it very much 😄

[I want to start by saying that we chose this hotel on a hurry, trying to move from another miserable place (so no matter how actually it looked like and what's the quality of the service, we would probably get satisfied).]We arrived and the staff immediately took our luggage and put us in rooms - we didn't have to wait in the lobby or anything. They answered all of our COUNTLESS questions and were very nice. The rooms are cute and the design is very stylish - I love how they have combined the traditional Turkish with the modern. The beds are super comfortable (honestly I don't think I've ever slept in a better one!) and it's really clean (they were cleaning our rooms daily). The food from the all-inclusive is pretty good, but I can't say I'm excited about it. You have a lot of options and most of them are tasty, but don't expect to try the traditional Turkish cuisine - it's just regular hotel food, if you know what I mean.We even went to the a-la-carte restaurant once (one visit is included in the all-inclusive) and the waiters were super sweet, and we had A TON OF FOOD! Honestly, I recommend thinking carefully before going there if this really is the thing for you, because we were too full and were very very sad to throw away our almost completely untouched main dishes ;'(The location of the hotel is ideal if you are there for the beach, but if you want to experience the famous Turkish shops and streets you have to walk around 20 minutes to the center. You can also take bus number 50 just in front of hotel by waving a hand and stopping it (it will cost you just 1$/ 1€/ 30 liras) and go to Alania which is 25 minutes away. I highly recommend this location, but if you want specifics better google it or check out the reviews for it, because I don't want to fill this up with unnecessary information. If you are not the type of person to walk and just want to enjoy true relax there are plenty of things (some of which included in the all-inclusive and some of which not) to do in the hotel - different sports, games, activities, there's different daily and nightly program as well, pools, even animators to look after your kids (it's additionally paid) and ect.Lastly, I want to mention the things I didn't like:1. This random dude (one of the waiters in the main restaurant) around the age of 20 that was constantly following me, wouldn't let me eat my food in peace (even after I begged him), was trying to flirt with me and ect. I don't want to go into details and make myself the victim of this post, I was just truly VERY uncomfortable and even disgusted and I think this is important to be said.2. The cleanliness of the public parts of the hotel - it wasn't bad, but I expected more.3. The gym - I would say that at least it had one, but you have to see for yourself the laughable way it looks like!4. The noise of the daily and nightly program. I understand during the day I cannot expect full silence, but at some point it got really really annoying! And about the night one - they sometimes continue until 1AM, so keep that in mind!5. The inability of the staff to speak English.6. The fact that they don't have regular blankets but just the traditional Turkish ones which even made from 100% cotton are very coarse and feel like a table cover.Generally, if you ask me - I would probably not go back to the hotel, not because I did not enjoy the stay, but because I think it's kinda overpriced even for what you get. This is of course just my opinion - you can see I've given them high rating and I stay by it!

We were a group of 16 people and all of us got food poisoning with vomiting, diarrhea and fever symptoms. Beside of this, the food tastes really bad but it is eatable if you don't mind the food poisoning. They are giving you "clean" towels everyday for the beach but the problem is they are not clean but dirty. The beach is awful, stones combined with a little bit of sand. When you go in the water there are only stones. The animators that work there are coming to you and ask you if you want drugs like cocaine and marijuana, they look like idiots and harass you everyday to get a banana tour, go to the clubs or other activities they make money out of.

Everything in the hotel was great: good location, beautiful surroundings, wonderful animation, varied food, excellent service. However, the biggest impression was left by the hotel's SPA team and the services they provide: Turkish hammam, various massages, beauty treatments. We visited the SPA center every day, where we were always kindly greeted by the employees Olga, Ana, Ela. We were 6 people on vacation and we all thank the wonderful masseuses: Ibrahim, Mexmet, Duran, Rabya. We returned not only rested, but younger and healthier. I recommend everyone to visit this center and use their services.

I've been here with a group of 16 friends. Out of 16 persons , 14 of us got stomach sick . I had to go to the hospital where I've stayed with an infusion for 11 hours and after that I didn't want to eat nothing anymore at this hotel. There is a gap between the door room which makes every sound from the hall way very loud in the room and you can't really sleep if there are any persons talking .You don't get water bottles when you go to the beach or to the pool , you get only glasses which you have to refill them.I don't recommend this hotel to nobody, only if you want to lose 1-2 days in the hospital and feel sick for the rest of them.

Great place with polite staff and wonderful green gardens. There could have been more Turkish dishes and some policy for the sea sunbeds (We always struggled finding free, despite some being occupied but unused basically throughout the day). However, overall we had a great vacation 😊Teşekkürler
